Party On

Someone once said, ~Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people, some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn't come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.~ If you think about it, life can be considered a party but in order to have one you need your gal pals and best buds in attendance to most definitely make it not only a truly enjoyable experience, but quite possibly a memorable one as well. For it's your circle of compadres that essentially liven the party atmosphere of life rather than having it seem to flat line, so to speak. Hey, it all comes down to the guest list of who you certainly want to not just invite, but stay and continue partying away with you for years to come.

Without a doubt, one of the things you want to hear when you are hanging amongst your friends at a party is the sound of laughter. I think it would be safe to say in the party known as life you want to have people who bring absolute amusement and not to mention enjoyment to the point where the smile on your face never goes away. The pain and tears you endure are actually a good thing because of laughing so hard. It's a comforting and fun situation indeed being able to be surrounded by a group of people who aren't considered simply guests in your life as they have gradually come to be seen as family who attain the uncanny ability to make you laugh through the difficult times in your life. Thinking about it further, nobody wants to invite someone or be that someone for that matter who is the quintessential party pooper, in a manner of speaking, leaving you with less drama or none at all to deal with.

As said before, nobody wants to invite someone or be that someone for that matter who is the quintessential party pooper, in a manner of speaking, leaving you with less drama or none at all to deal with. Unfortunately, when it comes to the party known as life the one uninvited guests crasher you don't want to find yourself coming face to face with is drama. You see, nothing ever good happens when the unwelcomed party crasher that is drama makes its presence known in your life causing your smile to turn upside down. The stress free and relaxing environment you were experiencing before it made its ugly surprise appearance can cause a person to become stressed out to where he/she is unable to enjoy himself/herself. Let me tell you something, its frustrating and a sad state of affairs when drama ruins particular moments/events in life causing you to clean up the mess it left behind afterwards.

Let me ask you this question to those who have hosted parties in the past: how many of your friends willingly/voluntarily stayed to help you clean up the mess left behind? I think every person is lucky enough to have established unwavering friendships that stick with you no matter what and will not leave until all the mess is cleaned, as well as picked up. Oftentimes, the same can be said when you find yourself needing to be picked up mentally. physically, spiritually, and most assuredly emotionally as well after enduring the mess drama has made. You truly have to thank God for bringing you such an eclectic group of individuals and quite possibly that one special individual into your life who are there for you even though you didn't even ask them to be showing you there are still people who not only care, but are willing to help you get through the difficult, tough times in your life.

In retrospect, every person has an invitation to the party of life but it's how you define the word "party" that determines how you live it. True, one can party like a rockstar drinking yourself into a drunken stupor with your best bud and gal pals till the wee hours of the morning but it can become quite tiresome once you get older. The alternative could be a celebration in which you cross things off your bucket list, whereby accomplishing the goals you set for yourself with friends in tow, which many of you may be achieving as we speak. In any case, people come and go throughout the festive celebration of our lives as we keep in touch with some while losing touch with others. Granted, that is how life is at times and yet it can be full of surprises. In the end, continue to surround yourself with awesome friends who no longer need an invite to this shindig called your life and in the immortal words of two pop culture icons from the movie Wayne's World I say to you all party on.

Such truth! Celebration is when "you cross things off your bucket list". I resonate completely with you. this! Also your right, what better way to accomplish goals then with a friend in tow? As you said it. Two is better then one and collaborative efforts can be more fruitful in a large amount of capacities.
