One can say for themselves that the life he or she has led so far has been interesting at best. It's been said that certain events in people's lives that each of us go through can never be undone. Those events can be considered imperfections which can't be erased no matter how many times one tries to sweep it under the proverbial rug so to speak. For we all, in some way, know it's coming but we have some or no idea the who, what, where, when and why? It's these imperfections that toughen up a person when life itself can literally give a surprise gift that you really never expected to get or sometimes never really wanted.
A person has to simply grin and bear with what has just happened or is about to happen. Oftentimes one thinks he or she is totally in control of the car being driven down his or her road of life. Inevitably that car, like our lives, can spin out of control and end up crashing hard into life's wall that we have all been against at one time or another. One just has to prepare himself or herself for the impact that is about to occur and hope to walk away unharmed. "Life Stinks", it's a saying that every person has said at some point in time and has seriously meant it. He or she simply has to deal with the awful smells of life that can sometimes make a person wave the proverbial white flag.
It's been said that every cloud has a silver lining. One just has to view the bright side of a potential bad situation if there is any. A person can somehow feel that the dark clouds that are looming over his or her head will never open up and let the sunshine through. One just has to find that one opening that will let in that one ray of light to brighten his or her day. Though one can't see it, that person simply has to look carefully for it because it is there. For if that person finds that opening then he or she can know that sunny days will be seen again. It's just a matter of trusting God to see you through the tough times of life that each of us will go through.
Many people's lives have been affected by forces of nature and end up losing everything that he or she owns. It's the people that we hardly know and yet feel for them because they lost homes, businesses, and family members. For each of these people will have to go back and salvage anything that is worth more than material possessions, in other words, a rebuilding process. A process where one starts back at square one when forces of nature such as a hurricane topples everything in front of one's eyes. If you think about it, we all start out with nothing and eventually our hard earned blood, sweat, and tears turn that nothing into something.
In retrospect, A person will continually fight their way back from darkness and back into the light so to speak. As the saying goes, "We may be down, but we're not out." For a person's home may be broken but the human spirit that lives inside each and every one of us can't. You have to have comfort in knowing that if you leave in God's hands he will protect you. You basically have to ask yourself what's more important in your life, material possessions which can be replaced or the people that can never be replaced, which do you choose? In the end, if you have your health, friends, and the people you love around you, then life as you know it, is absolutely perfect.
