Someone once said, ~Love and magic have a great deal in common. They enrich the soul, delight the heart. And they both take practice.~ Without a doubt, love or true love for that matter can be considered magical for two so called magicians who continue to be in awe of each other because they are still able to see the mystery that surrounds one another. For it's a kind of mystery in which you want to find, as well as, learn more of the magic of love works so you can be able to master your feelings and emotions in such a way that one's words/actions flow smoothly. However, for some couples the mystery faded out as their perception of a seemingly magical love has been skewed to the point where they see it all as merely an elaborate illusion filled with smoke and mirrors that simply plays tricks, so to speak, not only one's eyes, but also one's heart as well.
If you think about it, there is something absolutely amazing about magic that it has the power to put a smile on your face and bring you to a point where you find yourself speechless. In a sense, that is how love is or should be as you want to meet someone special who is able to work his or her magic on you without any outside assistance whatsoever or has any bad intentions up under one's sleeve. For it's the type of person who honestly and genuinely puts in the effort to harness the skills one has learned to try to always have that person's focus fixed on you and if you're is able to hold it for a long period of time you will most definitely be able to hear the oohs/aahs/laughter, as well as, see the smiles on his/her face, which inevitably causes an encore chant to be heard echoing within not just his or her heart, but soul as well.
Let me ask you this question, has a past, potential, or even a significant relationship ever pulled a disappearing act on you to where it left you both personally and emotionally hurt? It's a sad situation indeed when someone you like or truly care about pulls a Houdini on you and leaves you high and dry at a particular place or event. It's when you ask for a reasonable and honest explanation from that person you hope it's not a made up excuse that he or she miraculously pulled out of the one place that tends to get severely kicked/chewed out, which is one's buttockal region. It would be say to say that guys, more so than girls, have the ability to pull an explanation/excuse out of where the sun don't shine, but unfortunately it doesn't work half the time causing a woman to pull the proverbial trap door and close the curtain once and for all, in a manner of speaking, on the relationship for good.
Essentially, when it comes to love and magic they both need tremendous amounts of practice to get it perfect or close to perfect as it possibly can. You see, without practice you won't be able to work out potential problems/kinks that may possibly arise when you're right there on center stage in front of that person who you want to perform flawlessly for. Yet, there are times where you just end up having stage fright because of thinking about the grand scale of it all that it causes anxiety/doubt and that's when you have to step back, breathe, and attain one of the most important things that you need to succeed...patience. Let me tell you something to all those who keep coming back on stage after experiencing bad performance after bad performance, have patience and keep practicing because sooner or later you'll be sharing center stage side by side with someone truly special.
In retrospect, we can all be considered magicians like David Copperfield, Lance Burton, Criss Angel, Harry Blackstone, Harry Houdini, etc. who bring joy into our lives by doing something such as making people/places/things disappear and then reappear within a blink of an eye. In some aspect, we all want to meet someone who can do that same thing when it pertains to making things like past heartbreak/pain completely disappear and have re-appear in its place the dreams/happiness you always wanted to come true within your own heart. Though it may not be instantaneous, it will be gradual to where your hope is restored in the magic of love. In the end, there is a touch of magic that exists within every person's heart and its just a matter of truly believing someone out there has the ability to bring to life what others seem to think is just flat out hocus pocus.
