Paulo Coelho once said, ~When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.~ If you think about it, challenges come in many different forms to where it most definitely tests one's courage and willingness to not only move on, but let go of the past as well. For it can be a tough situation indeed to move forward inevitably leaving the past behind. Yet, with encouragement, as well as support from those who love/care about you the journey itself will certainly feel far less frightening, especially for a female intern working for Gulf Coast's hit radio station.

Without a doubt, when you look up the word versatile her picture is right next to it with a list of impressive credentials underneath. Thinking about it further, what makes this particular female intern such a jack of all trades on morning radio is her overall tenacity in allowing herself to endure pain of any kind when it involves crazy stunts. Essentially, it's her "if boys can do it girls can do it better" mentality that has earned her the respect of many who wouldn't have the cojones to actually do it themselves. Hey, whether it's matching the gross factor in puke art against MTV's Bam Margera, being voluntarily shot at with a paintball gun, having her hair cut by Qtip, etc. she has the potential to set the bar for future female interns to be insane enough to possibly follow in her footsteps.

As I said before, versatile comes to mind regarding this remarkable woman who isn't just a one trick pony, so to speak. You see, there lies within her a deadly verbal arsenal and if handed a mic she will spit out stinging rhymes of epic proportions the likes of which Slim Shady himself would not just be proud of, but be down right in awe of. Of course, it's because of her sick rap skills she has been deemed with the moniker Slim Lady, which is a homage to the no nonsense, music award winning rapper. Let me tell you something ladies and gentlemen, a woman of her caliber who can work the mic and not to mention work sleepless nights as a DJ is considered a deadly 1-2 combo that has those in the social media industry taking notice.

Let me ask you this question to the listeners of 97.5 WABD, do you honestly believe this fiery blonde intern has a destiny to fulfill in regards to making it in the world of reality tv to the point of becoming a star herself? The answer is yes. True, she has the determination, drive, and fortitude to go after a spot that was potentially offered by the powers that be of Redneck Island who contacted her. A chance of a lifetime to prove, if chosen mind you, how much of her inner redneck she can channel against other rednecks. Plus, she'll be fortunate enough to meet The Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin...but I digress. What it primarily comes down to is confidence because each and every one of us know you have it within you to hopefully show America what we in the Gulf Coast already know.

In retrospect, there comes a point in every person's life when an intervention is most sorely needed and it is currently being done by Rachel "Blondie" Jones and Producer Heather Bright to their fellow friend/employee Alyssa Ann Honea. Granted, it started off a bit rough with Beyonce's Single Ladies dance but she was able to pull it off making all of us around the Gulf Coast proud. In any case, it oftentimes takes a tremendous amount of trust to put your life in the hands of your friends after suffering utter heartbreak. However, she has and hopefully relationship rehab will bring back the old Alyssa everyone has been so accustomed to seeing in person, watching on YouTube, and listening on the radio. In the end, when it's all said and done I say this to the single men of the Gulf Coast: be afraid...be very afraid because soon a new, revitalized Alyssa will be unleashed.
