The Truth Is Out There

Someone once said, ~The truth of love is the truth of the universe: it is the lamp of the soul that reveals the secret of darkness.~ Without a doubt, each of us are in search of a seemingly all important truth that can be considered alien to one's own existence, especially when it pertains to matters of the heart. When it comes to seeking the truth of love from someone truly special you can oftentimes feel as if the information you ever really received from past relationships are a bunch of lies inevitably leading you to metaphorical dead ends within your heart. For there will be situations where the truth leaves you feeling skeptical, but if you truly believe that there is a guy or girl whose heart holds all the answers you've been searching for your entire life then continue investigating, so to speak.

As said before, the truth of love can be considered alien to those who have never been given the chance to not only see it, but also hear it from someone you know you can put your utmost confidence and trust in. However, when your so-called partner betrays the confidence and trust you worked hard to build with him or her over a period of time, it can feel as if the life, as well as, love you have within yourself has all been drained out leaving you absolutely vulnerable. For the highly classified information you once shared with your now former partner may, at some point, be used against you causing you to constantly watch your back or should I say guard your heart to the point where you can become paranoid whenever a potential new partner comes along.

If you think about it, when it comes to seeking the truth you want to associate yourself with good people who will not let you become brainwashed, in a manner of speaking, into thinking you are a complete loser and that what you have been searching for has just been a waste of your time. It's a frustrating situation indeed to be in as you can't help but feel alone fighting a losing battle to reveal the truth of love in which two things are initially brought back to life that were thought to have died or were about to die...hope and faith. In any case, it's these groups of people, who I like to refer to as your very own lone gunmen, encourage you to not let what others may say or try to do deter you from your intended objective and possibly help guide you in the right direction within your heart.

Let me ask you this question, do you believe in any conspiracies like the Apollo moon landing was faked or there was a second gunman when JFK was assassinated are true? The reason I'm asking is because there are times that while in search for the truth of love or true love for that matter you can sometimes feel like there is a conspiracy against you to not ever be able to experience true happiness. In some aspect, the proverbial powers that be want you to continue living the single life because in your own mind, being happy is something that interferes with his, her, their plans...whatever they may be. Whether or not the supposed conspiracy against you reaches the highest level of government, which is highly unlikely, you just have to keep a mature, level head about yourself.

In retrospect, we all can be considered fictional X-Files characters Fox Mulder or Dana Scully who try to bring to light the truth that tends to be hidden in the darkness never to be seen or heard. Essentially, the truth of love is something that very few people hold on to because of how easily its debunked by focusing on the cruel, hard facts of how dark and destructive it can be rather than focusing on how beautiful it can become with someone who can genuinely open wide not just your eyes, but also heart as well. In the end, during the darkest of hours love will shine brightly for those who haven't given up hope/faith and be rest assured for those who are still searching for answers of the heart that have unfortunately led you nowhere all I can say to you is the truth is out there.
