Angels Brought Me Here

William Shakespeare once said, ~They do not love that do not show their love. The course of true love never did run smooth. Love is familiar. Love is a devil. There is no evil angel but love.~ Let me ask you this question, when it comes to walking your own personal journey to experiencing for yourself love or true love for that matter, do you believe an angel of God watches, guides, and tries to protect you from being hurt within not only your heart, but also your soul as well? In my opinion, I truly believe so and if you think about it, love and angels have some similarities as they both seemingly exude a bright, glowing, warmth that can most definitely put your and soul at peace, which is what every person wants when it pertains to a potential and/or significant relationship.

Without a doubt, there are times where you just meet someone for the very first time and for some reason you have the feeling as if you've known him or her for years. For it's simply one of those unexplainable situations in which you easily and comfortably clique/connect with a particular guy or girl to the point where there is a nice, steady flow in the conversation being shared without any awkward silent pauses in between. In any case, it's that unknown familiarity that inevitably has you throwing caution to the wind, so to speak, whereby opening yourself and leaving you vulnerable to being hurt both personally, as well as, emotionally. Yet, you take the risk anyway because love or true love means that even though you're absolutely scared out of your mind, you keep your heart focused on that person who you consider to have the face of an angel.

However, the angelic face of love can oftentimes be the devil in disguise as the bright, glowing, warmth being exuded is considerably deceptive. Women, more so than guys, know the all too well feeling of falling for a supposedly trustworthy handsome face only to find themselves in utter heartbreak whereby having that particular guys face thoroughly engrained both in her mind and heart, which is an ugly image they try to erase, as well as, forget from ever thinking about again. Why? Essentially, when a woman thinks about a past heartbreak that initially causes pain and suffering it, in some ways, can feel like the devil himself is stabbing her deep within her heart with a pitchfork, metaphorically speaking of course, which is a truly tortuous experience to personally go through.

Someone said, ~Love expects no reward. Love knows no fear. Love divine gives - does not demand. Love thinks no evil; imputes no motive. To Love is to share and serve.~ Thinking about it, it's hard to know as to whether or not the one you'll meet is the same person who'll have evil intentions or plans for your heart. It's a sad situation indeed when certain people use love to manipulate/play with one's heart for their own sick and twisted amusement. In their own mind, it's a game that unfortunately attaches anger, fear, hate, bitterness, and whatever emotion one may feel leaving you always on guard. Let me tell you something, it's not love that is evil, but it's the person who is that is considered to be a cold, heartless, emotionless S.O.B, and ultimately you never really win when you play games with someone's heart.

In retrospect, the journey of love or true love is not without its hardships as you may have to go through the fires of hell in order to someday be in a place that feels like you're in heaven with that special someone. For some, most, or all people, they're tired of getting burned countless times from guys or girls in their past to where they give up on their guiding light who failed in one's eyes inevitably becomes a proverbial fallen angel and left them not only picking up the pieces of their broken heart, but also left them to not be able to fill the emptiness that's within as well. In the end, it’s when you're finally at the altar looking at the face of the one you love you can say with a smile on your face that my prayers have been answered, my dreams came true, my journey is over, and I am eternally grateful that angels brought me here, which is a song by former Australian idol contestant/winner Guy Sebastian.
