You Make Me

Someone once said, ~Love, an emotion so strong that you would give up everything; to just feel it just once, to know that you are part of something special. To know that you can feel what love is really is; to know, to feel, to love.~ Without a doubt, when it comes to matters of the heart you can most definitely experience a plethora of emotions from that quintessential warm fuzzy feeling you get inside oftentimes described as butterflies to falling head over heels. For it’s those emotions a person experiences can in all intents and purposes be considered a rollercoaster as he/she goes through highs and lows within their heart. Essentially, its the genuinely honest and real emotions one feels for another that causes you to say the following three words: you make me.

You make me feel good both inside and out. If you think about it, when you meet someone who makes you feel absolutely comfortable not only in your own skin, but in your heart as well you just feel on top of the world. I think it would be safe to say when you're in this heightened state of euphoria you find yourself completely unaware of doing certain things such as forgetting how to breathe, singing/humming a tune to yourself, having a glow about you, having a kick in your step to the point of doing a little dance, or whatever the case may be. It's quite an amusing and at times considerably annoying situation indeed for those witnessing the display of true happiness and yet deep down inside it's what single people like myself want to experience.

You make me crazy. Love and being crazy are synonymous with each other as you can go through a mixed bag of emotions over someone such as frustration, anger, bewilderment, confusion, etc. Thinking about it, every person who is in a potential and/or significant relationship knows all-too-well how crazy their gf/bf/husband/wife can make him/her. A level of craziness where any other person would run away screaming all-the-while tearing their own hair out but when it comes to your own "bag of crazy" you stay because even though he/she makes you want to cause him/her bodily harm you truly love him/her. Hey, how many of you can say with 100% surety you and the guy/girl you're with make each other crazy in the best possible way?

You make me a better person. Let me ask you this question to those who are in a potential and/or significant relationship, how many of you see the best of yourself every time you look into his/her eyes? Guys, more often than not, look into the eyes of their girl knowing they not only see who they want to be knowing he has the potential to be the best man she has ever known. When I say the best man she has ever known, I mean the best in being able to always provide for her emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Let me tell you something, all guys tend to think this way concerning a woman they absolutely love/care about as they strive to be that guy not knowing that in her eyes he is already that guy.

In retrospect, the emotions that go along with love/true love is something you can't stop or even try to stop from happening no matter how hard you try. For a certain number of people those emotions can be seen as unwanted knowing how much of a powerful force, in a manner of speaking, it is and to avoid experiencing any kind of emotions they bury their feelings deep inside. However, you can't bury how you feel for long because sooner or later they will gradually surface as he/she finds himself/herself with someone who will be worth letting their guard down and not being afraid to risk their heart. In the end, when you finally experience the emotions of love/true love you say to that certain someone you make me so many things from being happy to sad but most of all you make me smile, which is a song from a former member of Kid Rock's entourage Uncle Kracker.
