All For Love

James Baldwin once said, ~Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is war, love is growing up.~ If you think about it, when it comes to true love it can initially start off small but then it eventually steamrolls into something much bigger than anyone can ever imagine. When it comes to battle for true love a person can predict a possible outcome when it pertains to a certain someone in the beginning stages but unfortunately the end result is sometimes not what one predicted. Despite that, one must remain with the proverbial battle plan established within your heart, which holds the following three things: courage, faith, and determination.

Without a doubt, it takes courage within your heart to head into something that you have absolutely no idea as to what will happen next. Once a person makes that decision to step on the field of battle, so to speak, there is no turning back and most definitely an overwhelming sense of fear will be felt. Yet, it's that same sense of fear that drives you, as well as, motivates you to keep moving forward even though you're scared out of your mind. If you think about it, its when you're truly scared that you find within yourself the courage to not be afraid of the feelings and emotions that repeatedly hit you to where you remove the bulletproof vest you metaphorically wear, which protects your heart from being hurt.

True love not only takes courage, it also takes faith as well. Faith you put not only in yourself to make the right decisions, but also in God to help protect and guide you through the so-called warzone. For it can be a tough situation indeed as you can easily be distracted from all that is happening in, to, and around you to where you lose focus. It's when you lose focus the faith you have in God and in yourself slowly turns to doubt, which happens when one's heart and mind clash. In order to bring that focus back you have to pray and faithfully trust that God is leading you or already has led you to someone who will have/has complete faith in you to protect and guide him or her to a place that is absolutely calm and peaceful.

Essentially, every person comes face to face with one's heroic nature which is shown by the determination yielded in his or her heart. The determination to fight for what is honest, pure, as well as, true and even though you may not have the physical, mental, and/or emotional strength you keep on fighting, which shows how much heart you have. Thinking about it, falling in love is just half the battle because the other half of the battle is staying in love and if you don't run away from it you show signs of growth. In a sense, when you fight for someone who you would give your life for then you truly know the meaning of true love to where you're all grown up and the boy/girl you started out to be is now gone as you now become a man/woman.

Someone once said, ~Love is fighting for what you want and always working to make it better. So, if you fight for what's in your heart you're likely to receive love back.~ In retrospect, true love gives you a fighting chance to not ever give up on someone special who will most definitely not ever give up on you. It's just a matter of fighting with all your heart and whether you win or lose, you fought with honor. In the end, when you find someone who also has the same courage, faith, and determination to join you in the greatest battle two people will ever face together it's all for one and all for love, which is song from the movie Three Musketeers by Bryan Adams, Sting, and Rod Stewart.
