Love Will Keep Us Alive

Jiddu Krishnamurti once said, ~To love is the greatest thing in life; it's very important to talk about love, to feel it, to nourish it, to treasure it, otherwise it will soon be dissipated, for the world is very brutal. But the moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.~ As said before, one of the aspects that is considered very important when it comes to matters of the heart is to nourish it. For a certain number of people they are lucky enough to have their heart full, in a manner of speaking, with an abundance of true happiness, whereas those who are living the single life are metaphorically hungry and want nothing more than to in all intents and purposes know what it tastes like.

Without a doubt, its a truly satisfying experience within your own heart when you're in a significant relationship because you no longer hunger for true love. It's a comforting situation indeed to know your best friend for life will always stand by your side never leaving you feeling all alone as he/she nourishes your heart causing it to be metaphorically stuffed. Thinking about it, to have a guy/girl who gives you the will to survive by continually nourishing your heart with trust, honor, respect, honesty, loyalty, faith, hope, understanding, caring, tenderness, intimacy, contentment, commitment, etc. would most definitely bring a smile to your face. Let me tell you something, to have that type of worthwhile relationship where you don't ever hear the growling sound of your own empty heart is what every person wants.

If you think about it, there are those living the single life who are unfortunately hearing the sound of their own heart growling because of how empty it is. It's a sad state of affairs when a person has been for quite some time considerably malnourished due to the lack of feelings and emotions not being shared or given for that matter. Essentially, it's an unfortunate situation that hasn't changed for some people to the point where the emptiness felt within their heart is a representation of disappointment, frustration, confusion, anger, sadness, bitterness, heartbreak, doubt, loneliness, hopelessness, etc. You see, it's the emptiness one feels that can in some ways be like an uncomfortable case of heartburn so absolutely bothersome and irritating not even pepto bismol will be able to alleviate the pain you're feeling in your chest.

Let me ask you this question to those who are in significant relationships, has he/she so thoroughly enriched your life the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental hunger felt within your heart before meeting him/her is gone? I think it would be safe to say when you have someone who doesn't cause you to worry, prays for/with you in regards to God's guidance, will give one's own life up for you, goes above and beyond what he/she is capable of concerning every aspect of the shared relationship inevitably casting your doubts aside, etc. you can certainly breathe out a sigh of contended relief. Hey, be proud of yourself in knowing you have a guy/girl in your life who is constantly feeding your heart with so much positivity instead of negativity you just want to puke...in a good way of course.

In retrospect, every person has a limit when filling their stomach but not when it involves their own heart. True, there can be times where one can become so overwhelmed with emotion one thinks to himself/herself how things can possibly get any better because of all the love being given and yet they do. Oftentimes, it leads a person to experience that all-too-familiar aching feeling in the pit of their heart that usually tells them that what they're experiencing is too good to be true. However, be rest assured what one is experiencing is not indigestion but is more comforting than discomforting and to all the single people out there like myself I'm certain we will have that same aching feeling in the pit of our heart as well someday. In the end, when you do find/meet or already have met that guy/girl who nourishes your heart with as much joy/happiness you can look deep into each other's eyes and say with 100% certainty love will keep us alive, which is a song by classic rock legends The Eagles that best reflects this thought.
