Washington Irving once said, ~There is in every woman's heart a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity; but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.~ As a guy, you oftentimes wonder what sparks the heavenly fires of a woman's heart to the point where it doesn't burn out. For it can be a tough situation indeed to figure out the right spark in order to have their heart be permanently rather than temporarily illuminated by the fiery warmth of true happiness. Thinking about it though, it's considerably easy to initially bring about a spark to where it quite possibly turns into an eternal flame of love, but the difficulty lies in being able to properly handle it without getting burned, so to speak.
If you think about it, when you witness a woman truly falling in love with a guy who is not only real but absolutely genuine as well, the spark she started out within her own heart essentially grows turning it into a bright, glowing, flame of warmth. You see, to have that growth from the initial spark to the eternal flame of love a guy must be able to know how to properly kindle the emotions and feelings that can, in a manner of speaking, burn out quickly. I think it would be safe to say a lucky number of women are fortunate to have a guy who is able to correctly stir up instead of poke at aspects of love such as trust, faith, honesty, hope, contentment, commitment, communication, respect, intimacy, caring, tenderness, compassion, etc. causing their heart to continually burn longer, brighter, and hotter.
As said before, it's considerably easy to bring about a spark in a woman's heart but the difficulty lies in being able to properly handle it without getting burned. Unfortunately, there are guys out there who weren't able to quell the flames of girl's hearts because they were playing around with it and ended up getting burned by the flames of their wrath/anger. It's a sad state of affairs when the lack of care and attention certain guys have in correctly stoking the warmth of a woman's emotions, as well as feelings causes their heart to burn out so much so, that after a period of time it's left cold and dormant. Let me ask you this question to you ladies out there who have experienced in the past the pangs of utter heartbreak, how long has your heart lied dormant?
Without a doubt, it's a beautiful sight to behold to see any female's heart continually beam and blaze with absolute fiery passion when it pertains to matters of the heart in regards to love/true love. The glowing flame of warmth they feel inwardly can most certainly be felt outwardly causing those close to or around them to be fortunate enough to not just feel it but also see it by a flash of a smile, a look of happiness in their eyes, or whatever the case may be. Yet, for a certain number of women it hasn't always been easy by any means whatsoever to finally be in a comfortable place within their heart knowing they've gone through dark periods of spiritual, mental, physical, and not mention emotional adversity. What it primarily comes down to is having a guy who can carefully handle the fire within their heart because if he can't it will consume him.
In retrospect, a woman never really loses that quintessential spark when she suffers times of utter heartbreak. True, it can be considered quite difficult to be able to ignite it when she meets someone who she is potentially interested in because of past relationship issues. In some aspect, it's like trying to light a lighter and no matter how many times you attempt to get something going the spark itself isn't quite there, which happens from time to time. However, if a spark is established it inevitably takes patience to hopefully have a long lasting heart to heart connection that never burns out. In any case, you have to admire the strength and resiliency of a woman's heart after it comes close to completely being extinguished due to the mere stupidity of guys. Granted, not all guys fall into this particular category of stupidity when it involves the precious albeit dangerous flames that can most certainly be painful if not handled correctly. In the end, I say to you ladies whose heart remains dormant and awaits that special spark to ignite it you'll truly feel alive once you do.
