You Can't See Me

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, ~Within man is the soul of the whole, the wise silence, the universal beauty to which every part and particle is usually related, the eternal one. When it breathes through his intellect, it is genius; when it breathes through his will, it is virtue; when it breathes through his affection, it is love.~ When you meet me in person I tend to be man of very few words; but when I get a pencil and paper in my hand I have a lot to say. Essentially, everything that is written and eventually sent to you guys is primarily all seen through my own perspective; yet, in some aspect, you can see yourself going through or have gone through those same things even though your situation may be different.

For the most part, you're metaphorically walking a journey in my shoes even though you aren't physically in them. A journey in which each and every one of you have been on, but the only difference here is that it's partially my life that you are reading. In some weird way, it's like you've been given a key that opens a small door into my own mind and practically reliving certain aspects of my life have happened to me or people around me. It's kind of like that movie Being John Malkovich, though there isn't an actual doorway that leads into someone's mind...at least I hope not. Although enticing as it sounds, its merely a fantasy and besides reality is much more interesting, as well as entertaining don't you think?

There comes a point in these Yodaisms, there is a wise silence in which you kind of feel like you're going for an intellectual ride. A ride in a submarine to be exact and you basically start off on the surface then as you eventually descend deeper and deeper into my heart, mind and soul. For one can be amazed at what truths can be discovered when you yourself go on a voyage to find what lies beneath the surface of your own heart, mind, and soul. Undoubtedly, it can be a scary situation to look deep into your own heart and not drown in all the emotions that you go through when it comes to love. Initially, you have to work through it slowly, and resurface too quickly or you will suffer the bends, which every person has gone through one time or another.

Speaking of love, the affection you have for that particular guy or girl can leave you, at times, trying to get his or her absolute attention. Let me ask you this question, have you done something so out of the ordinary or genuinely nice/sweet to get that particular person's attention and see you? How many times were you unsuccessful and how many times were you successful? Hey, oftentimes the good outweighs the bad and it can also be the other way around; but the unsuccessful times in your life will prepare you for true success in love as seen through your own eyes. Personally speaking, when it comes to the subject of love as seen through my own eyes, it's honest and truthful to the point where it can be perceived as totally irrational.

Someone once said, ~Rationality does not reside in love; it can't and it never will, because love is all about being irrational; doing things for people that most would consider foolish, giving up things and dedicating yourself to the one you love.~ In retrospect, when it comes to the human heart, irrationality happens to everyone including myself and whether or not I'm considered the biggest fool or a fool worth giving a chance for, it's all in how she truly sees me. Anyways, there will be guys, as well as girls, who are unable to look deep into a person's heart and see someone worth loving. In the end, if he or she can't see into that then in the immortal words of WWE Champion John Cena, you simply say to that person face to face...you can't see me.
