Someone once said, ~They are wrong who say that love is blind. On the contrary, nothing-not even the smallest detail-escape the eyes; one sees everything in the love one, notices everything; but melts it all into one flame with the great and simple: I love you.~ If you think about it, when it comes to matters of the heart you can most definitely feel the love coming from a potential and/or significant other, especially when it's expressed from within his/her eyes. For its in the way he/she looks at you that can say so much without even saying a single word. Yet, you can miss it if you're not paying attention as you're being given a caring, warm look that comfortably embraces you with absolute genuine love, which is a sight to behold.
Let me ask you this question to all those who are in love, when your significant other looks at you with his/her eyes, do you know with 100% surety it's one of unwavering commitment to you? It's a type of commitment that says she sees the real you and not someone she thinks you are. Essentially, its by looking into his/her eyes she know you can not only do no wrong when you make mistakes that tend to be considerably embarrassing, but also see how much the one you love believes in you knowing you've got the potential of being the person you know you can become simply by setting your mind to accomplishing goals/aspirations you've personally set for yourself. What it comes down to is seeing a love that is truly faithful even when enduring times of failure.
Without a doubt,, one can be at times be totally oblivious as to the look of affection being given by a certain someone to where the saying goes love is blind holds true. I think every person has been in a situation where they had no earthly idea signals were being sent out by a particular guy/girl because one was distracted by their own analytical thoughts dealing in trying to figure out the all too confusing. as well as, frustrating world of relationships. Personally speaking, I can honestly say I am totally oblivious as to who may possibly be interested in a guy like me because there comes a point where you can no longer tell if you're flirting or just being nice causing you to gradually turn into a neurotic human being who just needs a good slap upside the head to open my eyes.
For the question can be asked, do you believe that the look of true love can be both a blessing and a curse? My answer is yes, because the fact of the matter is when you're blessed with looking into the eyes of love every day you want to live up to the expectations he/she sees in you and not ever end up seeing/staring into the look of sad disappointment in his/her eyes, which can cause you to metaphorically die within the very depths of your soul. Thinking about it, when you look into the eyes of someone you consider to be imperfectly perfect you thank God from the bottom of your heart for bringing him/her into your life to where you pray the so-called picture perfect portrait relationship you created with him/her isn't ruined.
In retrospect, the look of true love in its most purest form is honest, truthful, and never lies or cheats. For some people true happiness is staring back at them and they are fortunate enough in noticing every little detail such as the way he/she smiles that continues to melt their heart. However, there are those that have the misfortune of not seeing who is right in front of them because they've had on the proverbial blinders that caused one to see in only one direction, which quite a few of us have unfortunately experienced in the past. In the end, I hope to someday experience in another's eyes the look of true love from a woman who sees with commitment me for the man I know I am and despite all my faults/imperfections I see in myself she'll see the same commitment from within my own eyes when I look at her.
