Someone once said, ~The deepest wishes of the heart find expression in secret prayers.~ On this holiday season, countless adults and kids all over the world are both praying and wishing for gifts that will be found under the Christmas tree put under there by jolly old Saint Nick. Its those particular gifts that hopefully may have been given with a lot of thought, time, and effort to truly show how much love, as well as, care was put into the selection of the gift(s) in question. If you think about it though, the best gift you can possibly ever receive isn't something found under the Christmas tree to unwrap, but rather its found in a person's heart as he or she prays that you hope to receive what is truly most important in not only life, but also in love as well.
Let me ask you this question, what is that one big dream you have been praying for to quite possibly come true for you sooner or later in life? I think for every person, its getting a job that is both enjoyable and challenging to the point where you set a goal for yourself in order to achieve what you set out in your heart to do, which inevitably becomes an incentive to reach for. Unfortunately, obstacles can stand in your way leaving you frustrated, angry, and ready to throw in the towel to where your dream you've envisioned to come to fruition not only grows increasingly smaller, but also gets way out of reach. For the most part, you just have to keep working hard, reach within yourself, and never give up on going after your dream no matter how big or rediculous it may seem.
Without a doubt, we all pray for the worries that tend to overwhelm us to be small and not so big that it becomes an annoying burden carried on our shoulders. What it comes down to are the choices we make in life that determine our destiny for the future, which can either open certain doors of opportunity or close them depending on how wise the choices are. Hey, mistakes can be made and regrets can eat away at us if we continue to look back on them, but if you want to move forward with the future you have to let go of past, regretful worries and learn from those mistakes. Essentially, you look to God's grace as you leave it all in His hands because the less you have to worry about in your life the happier you and others around you are.
For the question can be asked of you, do you personally have someone special to spend your days with or miss who makes life just a little more enjoyable, especially during this holiday season? I think every person would agree that we all want the same thing when it comes to matters of the heart because there's a certain romantic atmosphere when Christmas rolls around that your heart begins to feel incomplete. For you witness those around share intimate, unforgettable moments as two people not only say so much to each other without even saying a word, but you also see the warmth and love within each other's eyes, which is something we all want to experience with someone who you pray to God every single day for being absolutely lucky to be with this person.
In retrospect, Christmas is a time where you think about others in an unselfish way and not of yourself. Although we can't send out presents to everybody, sending out our heartfelt prayers is the best gift anyone can do because it shows how much people really care, which can leave you with a good feeling inside. It's through our prayer filled wishes to the people we not only care about such as our friends, family, that special someone in your life, and the troops in the Middle East, but to all those who are less fortunate that they receive what everyone else hopes to receive. In the end, I say to my friends, family, and to that someone special who I'm thinking about, my wish for you is that your dreams stay big, your worries stay small, and know that someone loves you with all his heart and soul, which is a song by the best selling artists across all genres of music of 2006 Rascal Flatts.
