One Wish

Someone once said, ~When you think about it, life is strange. Some people believe in preordination, although I don't. Still, you grow up knowing that somewhere out there is a person you are going to fall in love with. You wonder what the person will be like. How she will look. How she will walk, talk, and what she will think. How she will smile. How will she laugh. There's no way of knowing of course, until you meet her. The realization that you finally met her comes as a wonderous discovery a peek into the works of life. This person is in your thoughts most of the time-all the time actually. You see her when you close your eyes, when you look off into the distance, and when you pause from what you are doing and take a deep breath.

Without a doubt, life can be strange when it comes to eventually meeting that special someone you will fall in love with for a lifetime. As a guy, you tend to walk through life telling/thinking to yourself that not having anybody special in your life is the best way to go for many different reasons which may or may not have merit. Oftentimes those reasons can turn into excuses and one of those excuses is that you're too busy so there is no time to pursue a relationship or to be in one for that matter. However, the strange thing about using that excuse is its not true and yet you can start to believe what your're saying for so long that its sounds true in your own mind, but in reality you're just scared.

When it comes to falling in love or liking a particular female of interest, its always scary particularly for the guy. Why? You have to look at it from our own perspective, its that intimidation factor combined with trying to figure out what she is thinking added with that two words every guy hates to hear which are "just friends." that makes it such a lethal 1-2-3 combo. From our standpoint, we can hear so many failed attempts at trying to cross over from "just friends" to more than friends that there comes a point where you just give up ever attempting to follow your heart to potential happiness. Its not until you meet that one woman you realize she's the one who is truly worth conquering you're fear for.

The question can be asked, how many guys can truly say they have someone truly special right in front of them and hopefully not mess it up for themselves? The answer is not many and you can bet there are guys out there who are beating themselves up, as well as, regretting what they did or said to the one that got away. Undeniably, women can truly appreciate the fact they they have a guy who is all that she ever expected and more. For a woman its that certain kind of magic that has the same familiar feeling and yet they experience something totally different from someone that is not like any other guy they've met, which is a rarity these days.

In retrospect, every guy will meet a woman who can make you lose your mind and yet can make you totally focused. A woman who can make you act all weird and yet can make you calm beyond belief. A woman who can paralyze you with a smile and yet can make your heart melt at the same time because of that smile. A woman who you can make you feel weak in the knees for and yet can make you stronger every time you are around her. A woman who can make you forget how to breathe and yet can breathe new life into you. In the end, with Christmas being around the corner, my one wish is to meet this woman and you know what, I may already have.
