Family Is Forever

Throughout a person's lifetime friends will come and they will go, but family will always be there for you. The disputes and hectic way of family life are part of what makes a family a strong cohesive unit. Each person with different personalities, views, and styles living under one roof and that can be a pressure cooker so to speak.

For nobody wants to be around when the shiznit hits the fan in a manner of speaking. The pent up anger that was stored away erupts like a volcano and spews out everywhere. Words are said and sometimes cannot be taken back. The lines of communication are then basically cut off and sometimes ultimatums are given. Ultimatums that are given which aren't thought of because of the heated moment.

If you live under my roof. you live under my rules, a quote that has been said so many times in many households. Many move on with their lives and start a new life and yet others stay and try a compromise between the parental units. It's a give and take between parent and child, a negotiation of sorts. For it has always been said, you can always come home again. For the door will always be open and a place will always be set at the table for you.

As one sits back, one often considers the fact that he/she may be adopted. For each person can agree that in their own way their family is completely insane. One aspect is the family reunion and things can get very interesting at family reunions. It's like your very own Jerry Springer Show, only with no studio audience, no Steve, and absolutely no Jerry. In the end, no matter how wacky your family is they will always be there for you.

If I could some this up with a final thought, this would be it. Sometimes it takes a tragedy for a family to come together and the lines of communication open up again. No matter how insane your family is, you gotta love them. Though they can get on our nerves at times, we have to remember one thing, friends come and go but family is forever.
