Are You Normal

Are you normal? It's a simple yet complicated question to answer. Everybody is unique in their own way. It's the person's personality that defines us all. If everybody were the same, it would really be a boring world to live in. Someone once stated, "Normal people are weird, weird people are normal". Do you agree or disagree with that statement? Would wearing a sombrero to work be considered normal? It depends where one works, the environment that person is in, and/or how that person deals with the day to day stress in his/her life.

For the traits and characteristics of the parents are passed down from generation to generation. Yet it is up to the child to create his/her identity. Finding themselves so to speak and discovering for themselves who they are and what type of personality that dwells inside of them. It is really what makes everybody special in a way. Everybody has that quirky personality that some/most/all people gravitate to. It's who each of us are, in addition, it is how you perceive yourself rather than others perceive you.

For some humor, sarcasm, the way he/she dresses, are just a small piece of a giant puzzle. It may take some people longer than others to figure out where the pieces fit but eventually they will figure it out through time. Many of us do things that are considered normal to us but weird to others. Look at the little things you do in your life that may seem normal to you but odd to others. In the end, ask yourself this question: Do you consider yourself normal?
